PROJECT CHALLENGE
The biggest PM show in the UK, Project Challenge was at the NEC in Birmingham on 12-13th March 2008. As always an excellent expo. We'll be sharing our observations on the ProjExc Blog, on subjects including PRINCE2(TM) - has it had it's day?, PM Tools - software as a service, and more.

OGC/PRINCE2 IRONY
OGC has published a report saying that more than 2/3 of business projects fail to meet their objectives. Observers have pointed out the irony when this message comes from the UK government body for the PRINCE2 methodology, which it promotes as the answer to project difficulties.

RECRUITING SHIFT
John Prodger, the recruitment company have reported that the majority of project manager recruiters are, for the first time, seeking APM skills like APMP, over PRINCE2.
